The Wharton Family have turned the once humble sausage into an art form which is almost haute cuisine. It is this blending of prime selected meats with rare bush spices, herbs and nuts which has resulted in the products which now win so many Industry prizes. Products with a fame that now extends well beyond the Nambucca Valley.

The Whartons have not been reluctant to utilise the unique skills of other Nambucca Valley specialists. The unique relationships they have developed with bush foods specialist Dennis Ryan at Valley of the Mist and smokehouse expert Andrew Andrews from Valla Smokehouse have been beneficial to all concerned. And it was this cooperative spirit which also led to the formation of the "The Taste of Nambucca" group.
